Meet the Staff

Allied Gardens Family Optometry has been in the Allied Gardens community since the 1960's.  Dr. Rosina Cullins has been the owner/Optometrist since 2006.  She graduated from Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) in 2003.  Originally from Pennsylvania, she decided to make the move to California with her sister immediately upon graduating.  She now is married with 2 children and loves San Diego!  Dr. Cullins loves what she does and enjoys meeting new patients, as well as catching up with returning patients.  She takes her time making sure everyone has the best prescription possible.  She also preforms a thorough health evaluation on each patient.  Everyone is screened for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration at each exam.  She is also well versed in dry eyes, allergy eyes, and infections.   Dr. Cullins feels it is important for the patient to understand what is going on with their eyes so they can better treat and monitor themselves.

Dr. Loan Huynh and her family immigrated to the United States in the1980s and settled in a small farm town in Northern California, just south of Sacramento. While earning her bachelor's degree at UCLA, Dr.Huynh would visit San Diego on the weekends with her current husband. They both fell in love with our beautiful city and decided some years later, to call San Diego their home. 

Dr. Huynh went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry from the WesternUniversity of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. She completed clinical rotations that included primary eye care, pediatric care, vision therapy, and ocular diseases including diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. 

She is passionate about providing the best eye care for her patients and has a passion for myopia management and ocular diseases. We are very excited to have her join our family at Allied Gardens Family Optometry. 

In her spare time, Dr. Huynh enjoys exploring San Diego with her husband,2 daughters, and their mutt, Bella

Lori is an ABO certified Optician. She has been in the Optical field her whole adult life. She has seen the field change and grow through the years and is a wealth of knowledge. She is the vision council Liaison for the western region. She is also a business mentor with SCORE San Diego. We are so grateful to have such a knowledgeable and hardworking member of our team! 

Linh loves to help everyone who walks in the door! She will talk to you about your vision needs and suggest a great lens for you. She is very kind and patient and will probably remember your name! She came on board in the spring of 2018 and is an integral part of the Allied Gardens Family Optometry team! 

Ethan is our Office Manager. He joined our family in the Spring of 2018 and we can't imagine the office without him. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our office regarding trends, frames, and lenses.  Ethan picks out all our frames in our office. If you can't find a frame you like, give him a hard time.
